About Grizzly Bear Land & Trail

Cutting and removing a fallen tree during a property clearing project.
Compact equipment clearing and grading a wooded property.
Climbing and working on a tall tree using climbing gear to trim branches and prepare for tree-cutting.

Grizzly Bear Land & Trail grew from years of working outdoors, operating equipment personally and professionally, and working on our own land in Alaska. What started as clearing land and solving problems around our own areas, turned into an opportunity to help those in our community to do the same.

As a small, family-owned business, we wanted to build something that reflects the way that we believe work should be done. We show up when scheduled, communicate clearly, take care of and respect the space that we’re working on, and do what we said we would do. Katie will be your point of contact to help you get scheduled and answer any questions, and Michael brings the hands-on field and equipment experience to each project.

As property owners ourselves, we understand that these projects aren’t always just moving dirt and clearing brush. These areas are homes, and places where you invest, make memories, and raise families. Grizzly Bear Land & Trail gives us the opportunity to help make your property a place you can use and enjoy, while building something that we’re proud to put our name behind.
